About this event

Because the Traditional Workplace Isn’t Traditional Anymore.

Let’s be honest — the workforce has changed, but most workplaces haven’t kept up. Today’s employees bring a wide range of abilities, strengths, lived experiences, and ways of working. And yet, many of the systems, habits, and assumptions we rely on at work were never designed with all of those people in mind.

It’s time to reverse engineer the way we think about work — not by overhauling everything overnight, but by stepping back and asking: who was this built for, and who are we leaving out?

Join us for this 30-minute conversation where we’ll challenge some of the “that’s just how we do it” thinking that quietly shapes our workplaces — and explore what small, meaningful shifts can look like in practice. Whether you’re an HR professional navigating a changing workforce or a small business owner wearing every hat, this session will give you space to reflect, rethink, and leave with ideas you can actually use.

At this event, you'll learn:

  • See how the workforce has shifted — and why being intentional about your response matters more than ever.
  • Recognize where small things in your everyday workplace may be quietly creating gaps — and how awareness is the first step to change.
  • Explore what it means to reverse engineer your workplace — looking at what you've inherited and asking if it still serves the people you have today.
  • Walk away with practical, small but meaningful actions you can take right away to make your workplace work better for everyone.
