Food Processing Skills Canada’s flagship training program —Skills Training Across Canada (STAC)—has gathered valuable insights from 1,500 supervisor and aspiring supervisor program participants at more than 150 food and beverage manufacturing companies across Canada.

Celine Pinsent Speaker Bio
Celine Pinsent, PhD, is a Partner at DPM Research, where she has spent the past 20 years specializing in evaluation and applied research. For the last 8 years, she has collaborated with Food Processing Skills Canada, championing continuous learning within the industry.
Celine has led some of the most complex program evaluations commissioned by the federal government, overseeing large-scale, multi-departmental initiatives. Yet, her passion shines just as brightly when designing impact assessments for small pilot projects or developing logic models and performance indicators that drive real results.
With a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa, Celine is a trained behavioural scientist with expertise in applied statistics, psychometrics, and methodology development. Her deep knowledge and hands-on approach make her an invaluable asset in both large-scale and grassroots initiatives alike.
Celine is an Island girl at heart having been raised on a small farm on Prince Edward Island where she was lucky enough to eat lobster and walk in the surf along the red sandy shore.
