Working with Governments

Working collaboratively with governments to develop programs and policies that make sense for industry.

Working with Governments

As a non-profit in the Canadian manufacturing sector we deeply value our relationship with the Government of Canada. Food Processing Skills Canada is recognized as the 'skills council' authority and leader for the industry. We also have excellent reciprocating relationships with provincial and municipal governments across the country.

The labour market analysis we conduct has successfully guided the development, and at times, the necessary changes to public policy and programs impacting our sector.

The following partners have been instrumental to making improvements in workforce development and planning through their support.

Employment and Social Development Canada
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
Future Skills Council
Province of British Columbia
Province of Alberta
Province of Ontario
