BC On-Farm

The BC On-Farm Food Safety program is a key element in FPSC’s food safety and traceability strategy. With this program, $10,000 is made available to establish or enhance food safety in a BC on-farm business.

Program Benefits

  • Identifying and documenting risks through food safety gap-assessment (or pre-audits) to improve your food safety capacity.
  • Proactively mitigating the risks identified through adoption of Good Agriculture Practices or Best Practices.
  • Achieving a third-party On-Farm Food Safety System or Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point food safety certifications through nationally and internationally recognized food safety accreditation bodies.
